A modern graphics card is recommended, however a fallback compatibility mode is included if you have an older card, or experience speed issues or other problems.

This will kick in automatically if needed, but can be forced by editing the INI file value for ForceCompatibleGFX to 1 should your performance suffer.

You could also try settings of either 0 or 1 for CompatibleGFXOpt to see which works fastest on your hardware.

Note however that this mode is no longer supported, is somewhat slower, has less features, and requires the desktop to be in 16-Bit (HI-COLOR) Mode.

Under Win2kWinXP it will attempt to use IOCTL instead, but should you encounter problems with this you can edit the INI file value for ForceASPI to 1, and install ASPI anyway.

When ever i go full screen it freeze for about 10 seconds then says cnt set display.

I then have to quickly go back to windowed mode or it hangs up.

I also didnt find Use Retroarch to be a satisfying answer, thus, I bring a different solution.

The GenesisGX core is superior and much more up to date while Fusion was and still is a very good emulator it is not kept up to date and has issues now with Windows 10.

Is there no command line i can put in kega fusion or another stand alone to try first it used to work fine on windows 7 just not 10.

If there realy is no other way is there a video tutoriol i can watch Also my setup is almost done on my laptop.

How easy would it be to tansfer the lot over to a tower were im putting it in a custom arcade unit All emulators and games are on an external hdd.

Retroarch has some very real benefits over stand alone emulators such as lower input lag, easy to configure controls, consistent visuals when using shaders and amazing audio syncing.

If you have everything contained within a single folder like having your emulators and roms in your Launchbox folder.

If you have your roms and emulators outside of Launchbox and and the emulator and rom locations arent actually changing then it will be fine.

I moved my Launchbox from one drive to another with no problems, my emulators and roms did not move at a.

Tried them all and have asked other friends who even have it running on windows 10.

I loved that emulator but must be time to move on unless i try an older build.

In my case I just wanted more video options and for some reason the programmer stripped them out of the current version.

Though Genesis GX does not emulate the 32X it does emulate some games that Fusion does not.

I downloaded kega 363 and ran it and hot a message saying ( pic 1) so i did it.

Then ran it again and got another message saying (pic 2) but my laptop doesnt have 16bit option (pic 3) did any of this happen to you.

I think Lordmonkuss suggestions are good - when one emulator fails you, try the other ones and see what works best (I do use Retroarch for most of my Genesis emulation, but I keep Fusion around because Ive had the most success with Sega CD with that one).

If I remember correctly they are the same bios but differently named.
